This site was created by friends and family of Weslee Sicard, who back in 1997 was accused of a horrible crime, charged with this crime and convicted of this crime in which he NEVER committed!
Surrounded by conspiracy, false pretense, trumped up charges. Set up by deception, lies, unfair and unequal Justice. A Gay youth of the City of Holyoke Massachusetts being charged with a sex crime, against his own brother, for simply doing a practical joke! A joke that all of us are too familiar with growing up. Putting someone’s hand in water and they wet the bed. A 16 year old child doing a funny joke on his little brother as all brothers do jokes on each other. Felt to see if he was wet and if the joke worked, to later be charged with a sex offense for that simple joke, by a vengeful step father and have the Police, Lawyers, District Attorneys and Courts all find him guilty because of being Gay. “It’s Wes’s brother and Wes is gay so Wes must of done it with sexual intentions.” They failed to hear the truth, even though it was right there in front of them.
Coaches are often seen in several sports patting kids on the buttocks during games. Parents wash and bath their kids, doctors and nurses care for sick and handicap kids and wash them as well. NONE of these situations are ever seen as devious or sexual and no one’s ever charged with a crime, not even the coaches! So how is it, a 16 year old child who’s openly gay, does a practical joke on his younger brother, feels to see if it actually worked and is charged with a crime?
This is a story of what really happened and how a family was torn apart, brothers separated for 18 years and counting, to not even so much as have contact, and a child who is Gay, convicted of a sex crime just for being Gay, made to be the highest level in the state and even after several appeals to the court to lower this level as well as an actual new trial motion hearing being finally held in March of 2011, with the brother then 20 finally telling the judge what really happened and what the truth was, to just be ignored and called an “Unreliable witness”. And all these people who took an oath to uphold truth and justice no matter what fail to care about that oath and keep an innocent person 20 years later and counting convicted of this horrible charge in which he NEVER did. Wes never did anything other than simply being Gay.
Wes needs our help and no one including his brother who’s speaking out and telling people what really happened, are being listened to or heard.
His Brother wrote letters to Former Massachusetts Governor Patrick, Former DA Bennett, Former Holyoke Police Chief Scott, Former Attorney General Coakley, Current Governor Baker, Current DA Gulluni, Current Police Chief Neiswanger were all sent letters from Wes’s brother about what really happened and seeking their help, however no one at all responded to him! So we are now making this case public and hope that people out there who read this case can help Wes and his brother and family be back together again.
We have attached the facts, actual court documents, Police reports, statements, etc and will update this site as often as we can with new information.
However, without the help of the public, no one will hear Wes’s case. So please help Wes and his family to be back together and sign our online petition for Wes to have a new trial.
We all know lost time can never be taken back and is forever lost, but the future can hopefully be made better with your help.

Also, a special heartfelt thanks to Wes’s new Attorney Jessica Leclair whom was appointed by the Innocence Project whom took Wes’s case and has dedicated countless hours now in working with the Innocense Project to help clear Wes’s name and show that he in fact never did this horrible crime, and help get Wes the new trial he deserves!
Also, thank you to Private Investigator Johnnie Vernon and Paul Patel for voluntarily gathering all the reports and information for the motion for new trial back in 2011 to present, as well as the countless witnesses you both have interviewed, even though the court refused to let Johnnie Vernon testify and present any of this helpful supporting evidence the day of the last motion for new trial hearing. And to all those individuals who stood by Wes through it all and continue to do so! Thank you all!!!
